the living chapel

our story

The idea of a living chapel took root in 2018, following the heartbreaking loss of our daughter, Elizabeth. To honor her memory, we planted 18 maple trees—one for each cherished year she was with us—forming a grove that became a sacred space for our family to grieve, pray, and find peace.

In 2023, when Elizabeth’s sister Abbie became engaged, we felt called to breathe new life into that space. We broke ground and began transforming our vision into reality. What began as a memorial soon blossomed into something even more—a living chapel, deeply connected to nature and our family’s enduring love.

Floralis Farms was created in less than a year, lovingly built for Abbie’s wedding. Now home to thousands of thriving plants, this chapel is a place where beauty, grief, love, and growth intertwine. It is a celebration of the earth and all that blooms when we nurture it—with our hands, our hearts, and our hope.

This space has brought healing to our family—restoring joy, laughter, spirituality, and purpose to our lives. We are honored to share it with you on one of the most meaningful days of yours.

From the very beginning, this has been a labor of love — a sanctuary shaped by our hands and hearts, nestled among thousands of living plants, where we feel one with nature and surrounded by the love of family and friends.
